From the authors:

MultiWeb is a World Wide Web browser that incorporates disability specific technology suitable for computer users with multiple disabilities. It is designed to be used without other adaptive software and includes a speech engine, text enlargement, and scanning for switch devices.

MultiWeb features various interfaces specifically designed to work with input devices including mouse, keyboard, switch device and touch screen. Each interface can be set-up with a number of different options including large print, highlight text, small buttons, speech synthesis, talking buttons and a variety of colours and fonts. The name MultiWeb stands for MULTIple interfaces to the World Wide WEB.

The settings chosen for the interface are inherited by all Windows displayed within the application. For example, if a user were to select the Switch Device Interface with the option of speech synthesis then Windows, such as File Save, would also have switching and speech.

The MultiWeb package consists of two separate programs: the MultiWeb User Options program which is used to select the interface and options and MultiWeb which is the actual browser.
