Grid Maker

An accessory for producing grids for use in EdWord and EdWeb. This can provide a list of words or symbols for the user to choose from when writing, as well as pictures, effects and web addresses.

Grid Editor is a support program for the EdWord word processor and the EdWeb web browser. It is supplied so that grids (to support switch users) can be created for EdWord and EdWeb.

A Grid is a collection of cells. A cell is a rectangular area which shows a picture and a small piece of text. Each cell has one or more commands associated with it which are executed when the cell is clicked.

When grids are used, the main window of EdWord or EdWeb is divided in two areas. The lower area is where the grid is shown while the top area is where the main program is shown.

The original project homepage link was broken, and has been re-linked to one with a notice about the ending of the project. There is a reference to this OATS page for downloads. We have found a local download that is now locally stored here (our previous download link referred back to the project owner). This is hopefully the latest release. Feedback is welcome!
