PowerTalk Portable
============

This Portable version of PowerTalk will run without any installation. Just unzip and copy the PowerTalkPortable folder to somewhere, then run PowerTalk.exe. This make it suitable for running from a USB stick or in enterpise situations where it can be automatically rolled out, perhaps with a little MSI scripting to create icons

Note that a full copy of PowerPoint and Windows SAPI speech are also required as detailed in the PowerTalk ReadMe.htm.

Differences from using the installer
------------------------------------

The installer copies all the files included in the portable version and also creates a Start Menu item for PowerTalk. Additionally it also registers the 'Narrate using PowerTalk' items in Windows Explorer context menu (right click). The PowerTalk settings dailog also allows these items to be set.

Accordingly you may like to create shortcuts as follows:

Demo: PowerTalk.exe PowerPoint.ppt
Settings dialog: PowerTalk.exe --settings
Readme: ReadMe.htm
Sound Settings - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Speech\sapi.cpl (for XP)
