Searching directly from FireFox

If you use the FireFox web browser (a highly rated open source web browser) you can directly search the OATS database.

FireFox

FireFox is an open soure web browser that is highly rated and packed full of a number of features other browsers do not have.  In particular, FireFox has a number of accessibilty features.

Searching OATS from FireFox

This is simple!  The FireFox search box is located in the top right hand side of the browser.  Normally this sends you off to a Google search, but if you download this search engine you can search OATS.

  1. Get Firefox!
  2. Download this search engine - click on 'OATS' (you can find lots of other engines here)
  3. Change the search engine to OATS:
  4. Type in your search phrase
  5. Click Go!
